Oxford Public School currently has a single RO water point on the ground floor serving all 750 students. Children studying on the upper floors go without adequate hydration through the school day — a serious gap during Maharashtra's extreme summer months, when temperatures exceed 44°C.
This project installs two additional commercial-grade RO water coolers on the upper floors, giving every child clean, safe drinking water within reach of their classroom — completed in just 30 days.
Dehydration in school-age children measurably reduces concentration, cognitive performance, and attendance. With only ground-floor water access, students on Floors 1–3 either go without water or lose learning time travelling between floors. This is a basic dignity and health gap that a modest investment can close completely.
Installation of two commercial-grade RO water purification and cooling units, with full plumbing, electrical, and a first-year maintenance contract:
| Line Item | Unit Cost / Basis | Qty | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| RO water coolers (10–20 L/hr) | ₹45,000 × 2 units | 2 | ₹ 90,000 |
| Plumbing — inlet & outlet connections | Lump sum | 1 | ₹ 40,000 |
| Floor platform & drainage | Lump sum | 1 | ₹ 16,000 |
| Electrical points | Lump sum | 1 | ₹ 7,000 |
| Year 1 AMC & filter replacement | Annual contract | 1 | ₹ 12,000 |
| TOTAL | ₹ 1,65,000 | ||
