Executive Summary

Basketball & Volleyball Grounds

Students from Oxford Public School have finished runners-up at the National Cricket Championship in Ajmer, competed in National Kabaddi, and represented India at the International Lathi-Kathi Championship in Myanmar — yet the school still has no dedicated basketball or volleyball facility for its 750 students.

This proposal requests CSR support of ₹20,15,000 to construct two separate, full-specification courts — a FIBA-standard basketball ground and a regulation volleyball ground — institutionalising the school's existing athletic excellence. The budget includes a 10% price-escalation buffer on each ground, reflecting current construction-cost pressure in India from rising fuel and transport costs, cement and steel price increases, and El Niño-linked uncertainty around rural labour availability and wages during the 2026 construction season.

The Problem

Physical development and mental resilience are integral to holistic education, yet students currently have no dedicated court for structured basketball or volleyball — limiting co-curricular growth despite proven student talent at the national and international level. Building two separate, properly sized grounds (rather than a single compromised shared court) gives both sports the regulation space they need and lets either ground be sponsored independently if a donor prefers a smaller commitment.

The Proposal

Construction of two independent, full-specification courts — basketball (28m × 15m, FIBA standard) and volleyball (24m × 15m including clearance) — each with its own surface, fittings, and boundary fencing:
